Melissa Vanderkley (BAppSci and DVN)
Mel joined our team in April 2018 as our Senior Vet Nurse and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Animal Management and Welfare as well as her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing both from Unitec and has been working as a qualified Veterinary Nurse for over 6 years and is registered with the NZ Veterinary Nursing Association. Mel has an interest in complex surgical cases and anaesthetics, loves giving each patient a cuddle and is enjoying learning the dentistry side of things here at MVRC. In her spare time, Mel plays and coaches netball, enjoys walking her dog and catching up with friends and family. She lives with her husband Grant, their young son, Golden Retriever Indy and Domestic moggy Ariel. Lisa Roycroft (DVN)
Lisa joined our team in September 2018 to help with our ever-growing case load and holds a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing after graduating from Unitec in 2013. She has been working as a qualified Veterinary Nurse for over 5 years and is registered with the NZ Veterinary Nursing Association. Lisa is very interested in intensive nursing and providing lots of TLC to our patients each day. She also has a strong passion for anaesthetics and feline medicine. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys going on hikes and exploring our beautiful country. She lives with her partner Daniel, their kitty cats Mowgli and Rosie and her chatty cockatiel Luna. Ange (DVN)
Ange is the newest member of our staff and joined our team in January 2021 due to our continued growth in the clinic. Ange holds a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing after graduating Vet Nurse Plus at the end of 2017. Since then, Ange has worked at two general practice clinics and found a passion for surgery and dentistry. Ange is interested in anaesthesia and is enjoying the referral side of the clinic. We often find Ange sneaking a cuddle with our patients or bringing the team delicious baking! In her spare time, Ange loves being outdoors, spending time with her friends, family and gorgeous staffy Belle. |
